Psychic Academy is a Japanese seinen manga series written and illustrated by Katsu Aki. It was published by Kodansha in Magazine Z between 1999 and 2003. The series follows the life of Ai Shiomi, a teenager with psychic powers known as 'aura power'. Set in modern-day Japan, aura power allows individuals to manipulate elements such as fire, water, ice, lightning, earth, wind, and light. The story explores the challenges Ai faces as he navigates a world where not everyone possesses these abilities. The manga series was adapted into an anime ONA (original net animation) in 2002. Both the manga and anime have been licensed in North America by Tokyopop.
